Senior Vulnerability & Security Engineer

Job Description

• Lead enterprise vulnerability management and security configuration programs in a technical cybersecurity role within financial services.
• Analyze CVEs, vendor advisories, vulnerability scans, EDR, application security testing, penetration testing, and threat intelligence to assess exploitability, business impact, and mitigation options.
• Develop remediation, mitigation, exception-management, compensating-control, and risk-acceptance recommendations with infrastructure, cloud, application, platform, engineering, and security teams.
• Engineer secure configuration baselines, automated compliance assessment and monitoring solutions, reporting capabilities, and integrations with vulnerability management workflows.
• Requires 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in financial services or another highly regulated industry; CISSP or equivalent is preferred. Jersey City, NJ; full-time; work mode not specified.
