Simulation Lab Instructor - Nursing

Job Description

• Full-time, nine-month, on-site nursing simulation instructor position at Southwest Virginia Community College in Tazewell, VA, reporting to the Dean of Health Technologies.
• Develop, prepare, teach, assess, and integrate clinical simulations, nursing skills scenarios, debriefing sessions, and related curriculum activities.
• Train faculty, support staff, and students in simulation technology; evaluate simulation effectiveness; and provide instructional support in simulation labs and classrooms.
• Maintain simulation equipment, manikins, software, supplies, records, scheduling, and lab operations; supervise the Sim Lab Assistant and coordinate partner simulations.
• Requires a current unrestricted or multistate Virginia RN license, a baccalaureate degree with active enrollment in a graduate program, two years of recent related clinical experience, computer proficiency, and an acceptable background check.
