SOC Analyst I

Job Description

• SOC Analyst I role providing real-time security monitoring and threat hunting for customers across multiple industries in a managed security services environment.
• Monitor, analyze, correlate, document, and escalate cybersecurity events; identify attack sources, root causes, threat actors, anomalous network activity, and potential threats.
• Support Managed XDR, Managed EDR, Managed Security Awareness Training, Managed Vulnerability Scanning, SIEM, firewall, endpoint management, and vulnerability compliance activities.
• Requires 1+ year of IT administration, help desk, or equivalent experience; an AAS or equivalent experience; and experience with security tools.
• Microsoft SC-900 must be obtained within 6 months of employment and Microsoft SC-300 within 1 year; includes recurring customer calls, SOP drafting, and after-hours on-call rotation.
