Software Architect (Compute Test, Austin)

Job Description

• Lead software architecture and strategic development for semiconductor test customers in Austin, Texas, working on-site in a full-time role.
• Define workflows, requirements, constraints, interfaces, technical risks, implementation stages, validation strategies, and long-term platform alignment.
• Build and review modular C# software using object-oriented design, automated testing, maintainable dependencies, diagnostics, and appropriate performance.
• Provide prototypes, design and code reviews, documented technical decisions, production issue resolution, and mentorship to test engineers.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 7 years of software development experience, strong C#, and no visa sponsorship; base salary is $161,700–$258,000 plus potential discretionary bonuses.
