Job Description
• Remote, full-time Software Architect and individual contributor role at SONIFI Health, providing significant technical leadership across the healthcare product portfolio.
• Define and document end-to-end architectures, lead complex design decisions, select technologies, and guide implementation for scalable, maintainable, secure, compliant, and interoperable systems.
• Architect AWS-based systems using EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, REST, GraphQL, gRPC, SNS, SQS, RabbitMQ, microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide architectural oversight for HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance, data protection, security, reliability, performance, cloud configurations, deployment strategies, and architecture governance.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, 7+ years of software engineering experience, and at least 3 years in architecture or technical leadership; healthcare technology, EMR/EHR, HL7/FHIR, and a related Master’s degree are preferred.
• Salary generally starts at $120,000–$160,000 annually; U.S. work authorization is confirmed through E-Verify.
