Job Description
• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable database solutions as a Database Engineer/Administrator supporting a specific program.
• Develop maintainable software, execute unit/integration/performance testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application and database performance.
• Provide technical support for database interactions, application performance, system integrations, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Collaborate in agile processes with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize enhancements.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on database design and administration; and an Active Secret clearance.
