Job Description
• Lead full-stack engineering for a core banking modernization project across on-site locations in New York, NY; Mt Laurel, NJ; Charlotte, NC; or Fort Lauderdale, FL.
• Provide hands-on technical direction using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, React or Angular, Azure, Docker, AKS, Kafka, CI/CD, and related engineering tools.
• Lead a cross-functional engineering POD, translating architecture into an executable backlog and coordinating estimation, sprint planning, PI planning, dependencies, risks, and impediments.
• Mentor engineers and drive code/design reviews, automated testing, secure coding, production readiness, delivery commitments, engineering standards, and continuous improvement.
• Requires 12+ years of experience, AI-assisted software engineering, Agile/Scaled Agile delivery experience, and preference for banking experience; client prefers non-visa candidates on W2.
