Job Description

• Coordinate Special Collections instruction, educational visits, tours, programs, events, research grants, and related logistics from initial request through completion.
• Serve as the primary contact for faculty, instructors, campus groups, community organizations, and public audiences, collaborating with curators, archivists, librarians, and faculty.
• Collect and analyze instructional statistics, assessment data, and participant feedback; prepare reports and recommend service improvements.
• Develop instructional guides, documentation, workflows, procedures, and online resources supporting teaching and learning with rare books, archives, manuscripts, and other distinctive collections.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination; fully on-site at Penn State’s University Park Campus with occasional evenings and weekends, successful background checks, and U.S. work authorization.
