Job Description

• Contract Special Education Teacher role serving students with emotional disabilities in an in-person classroom near Waverly, NY; the assignment runs from early September through late October.
• Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEPs and create an inclusive, supportive, structured classroom at the Wildwood location in Hornell.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust instructional plans.
• Maintain documentation and accurate records of student progress and behavioral interventions; participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.
• Requires a valid New York Special Education Teaching license with all required endorsements/certifications and experience with grades 11-12 in an Emotional Disabilities classroom or similar age group; compensation ranges from $24.25 to $48.25.
