Job Description

• Full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher pathway role serving students in special education programs in Gainesville, FL.
• Design and deliver lessons, instructional strategies, and learning activities for students with varying abilities; use multimedia and technology to enhance learning.
• Monitor student achievement, maintain evaluations and documentation, and develop, manage, and support IEPs and BSPs.
• Manage student behaviors using de-escalation, behavior intervention strategies, safety protocols, and behavior management plans; provide required student mobility and health-related support.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited institution, completion or willingness to complete a foundations of special education course, and pursuit of a provisional Florida Special Education License.
