Sr. Data Scientist - People Analytics

Job Description

• Senior Data Scientist role on Lennar Corporation's People Analytics team, based in Sacramento, CA (+3 others), with primarily office-based work.
• Build and deploy predictive models for attrition, turnover risk, hiring, headcount needs, and workforce trends using Python and SQL; monitor and refine model performance over time.
• Build AI agents using LLMs that query, reason over, and act on sensitive workforce data, with appropriate tool use, orchestration, and guardrails.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or a related analytical field; 5+ years of relevant experience, reduced to 1+ year with a PhD or 3+ years with an MS.
• Requires predictive modeling, experimentation, causal inference, SQL, Python, LLM/agent development, complex HR or operational data experience, and the ability to communicate results to non-technical HR and business leaders.
• Full-time position with an annual base salary range of $122,713.49–$163,618; may also be eligible for bonuses and commissions.
