Job Description
• Lead design, engineering, operational support, optimization, and long-term evolution of Metro Ethernet, IP/MPLS, transport, and carrier-grade Layer 2/3 network infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing, EVPN, IPv4/IPv6 routing, and route policy engineering.
• Support E-Line, E-LAN, EVPL, EPL, and carrier Ethernet services while resolving complex customer-impacting issues and Tier 4 outages.
• Lead architecture reviews, lab validation, technology evaluations, modernization, migration, network upgrade, and infrastructure expansion programs across Cisco, Juniper, and Ciena platforms.
• Requires 7+ years of service provider or telecommunications network engineering experience, Tier 3/Tier 4 carrier Metro Ethernet experience, and a preferred bachelor’s degree; role is hybrid in Dallas, TX or Denver, CO.
