Job Description
• Senior strategic sourcing leadership role for avionics, electrical, flight-control, monitoring, pneumatic and environmental aircraft systems at ATSG Inc in Wilmington, OH.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 10+ years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience, including 5+ years in aerospace, airline MRO or aviation aftermarket.
• Leads multi-year category strategies, competitive sourcing, supplier segmentation, should-cost modeling, make/buy/repair analysis and negotiations covering component support, repair management, PBH, pooling and long-term maintenance agreements.
• Ensures supplier controls and compliance with FAA Part 121/145, DoD/CRAF, ITAR, DFARS, airworthiness documentation and AS9100/AS9120 requirements.
• Directs a matrixed sourcing organization, develops category managers and buyers, reports validated savings and working-capital impact, and applies advanced analytics, AI and digital procurement tools with governance, validation, confidentiality and human oversight.
