Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management

Job Description

• Lead high-impact technical programs within Capital One Bank Tech, including a multi-year modernization of customer-facing platforms and systems.
• Own program execution frameworks, roadmap transparency, dependency mapping, risk escalation, governance routines, metrics, dashboards, and executive communications.
• Partner across product, engineering, and multiple lines of business to align product strategy with scalable, resilient, maintainable platform capabilities.
• Require a technical bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years managing technical programs; preferred experience includes distributed systems, AWS/cloud architecture, Agile delivery, scalable platforms, and complex cross-functional programs.
• Based in McLean or Richmond, VA; full-time or part-time, with full-time salary ranges of $200,700–$229,100 in McLean or $182,500–$208,300 in Richmond; Capital One does not provide employment-authorization sponsorship.
