Job Description
• Full-time, on-site Sr. Operations Specialist role with Mechanics Bank, based at an office in Irvine, Cerritos, or Corona, CA; travel required 0-10%.
• Supports back-office banking operations, Service Operations Support, and Customer Care while monitoring workloads and service-level completion.
• Reviews and rewrites Questionable Activity Reports (QARs), completes FEARs and APS callbacks, submits revised QARs to FIU, and maintains QAR/FEAR tracking.
• Handles online banking and Bill Pay registrations, Contact Us and Secure Support emails, call reviews, callbacks, branch stop payments, online banking maintenance, ACH Originator information, faxes, and miscellaneous requests using Outlook, Adobe eSign, and related workflows.
• Requires 3 years of operational, accounting, finance, or related experience in a financial institution; an Associate Degree is preferred, with additional experience accepted in lieu of the degree; compensation is $24.00-$29.00/hr plus an AIP bonus of up to 5%.
