Job Description

• Senior Principal Cyber Threat Analyst supporting Northrop Grumman’s CISO & Global Cybersecurity Intelligence and Response team in Jessup, MD, with flexible work arrangements; specific Remote, On-site, or Hybrid status is not stated.
• Analyze and prioritize concurrent cyber events, host/network logs, network indicators, PCAP data, timelines, and root causes while countering sophisticated threats across the Northrop Grumman Managed Network.
• Requires 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science, 6 years with a Master’s, or 4 years with a PhD; also requires at least 4 years of intrusion-analysis/cybersecurity log analysis and 4 years using Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
• Requires a current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access and a recent polygraph adjudicated within the last 5 years; 10% travel required.
• Salary: $117,500.00–$193,900.00; preferred qualifications include endpoint/network exploit knowledge, EDR, cyber threat intelligence, Linux/Unix and Windows, Bash/PowerShell, AI/high-performance computing, and relevant GIAC or forensic certifications.
