Sr. Software Engineer, Bioinformatics

Job Description

• Senior full-stack software engineering role with Quest Diagnostics in West Norriton, PA; full-time, with work mode not specified.
• Design, implement, and maintain applications handling genetic data, complex data workflows, pipelines, and RESTful/JSON-based APIs.
• Use PHP, Laravel, MySQL, React, CI/CD practices, testing frameworks, and cloud deployment techniques; AWS is preferred.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Bioinformatics, and cross-functional teams in agile workflows, with at least 2 hours of overlap required with US and EU business hours.
• Requires 3+ years of relevant experience and a required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a related master’s degree is preferred.
