Job Description
• Senior software engineering/technical lead role at Cognizant focused on secure, scalable, data-centric applications using Azure SQL and Python.
• Design, optimize, deploy, document, and support Azure-based data solutions, Python services, CI/CD workflows, and production systems in a hybrid work environment in Texas.
• Lead end-to-end development, architecture decisions, code reviews, deployment planning, incident investigation, and performance tuning while guiding junior engineers.
• Partner with product, compliance, and cross-functional stakeholders to support secure data handling, audit readiness, data governance, regulatory requirements, and reduced audit risk.
• Requires 6–8 years of software development or data engineering experience; full-time day-shift role with no travel and a salary of $90,000–$95,000 per year.
