Staff Nurse (RN) - Oncology Continuing Care Triage

Job Description

• Provide remote telephone triage and nursing care for established oncology patients and their families.
• Assess calls, apply established triage algorithms, determine interventions, and document outcomes in the organizational electronic medical record.
• Follow up on post-discharge and post-procedure calls requiring additional intervention and support referral-based needs for James scheduling staff.
• Requires a nursing degree from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited program, current Ohio RN license or interim permit, and maintenance of the Ohio RN license.
• Two years of relevant care-setting experience is preferred; five or more years of oncology or triage experience, telephone assessment and management experience, and Oncology Nursing Certification are preferred.
• Remote candidates must live within 1.5 hours of the facility and may need to work onsite if service is lost; weekend and holiday shifts are included.
