Staff Software Developer, Operations Research

Job Description

• Staff/Senior-level Operations Research software developer at Kinaxis Inc., working remotely from U.S. locations; Ottawa and Toronto roles are hybrid.
• Develop C++-based algorithms and mathematical optimization models for real-world Supply Chain Management use cases using commercial solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress, and CPLEX.
• Lead mathematical-model design, investigate heuristics and optimization techniques, and deliver commercial software with 7+ years of software development experience.
• Define test strategies and implement unit, integration, regression, and performance testing using automated testing frameworks and internal tools.
• Use and rigorously review AI-generated code while maintaining architecture consistency, secure design, code quality, correctness, and edge-case support.
• Requires an MSc or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; full-time position with salary undisclosed.
