Job Description

• Staff-level individual-contributor software engineering role at Pinterest focused on infrastructure usage, cost attribution, ownership, planning, and budget data systems.
• Design, build, and operate production ingestion and transformation pipelines, data models, services, quality controls, contracts, documentation, and monitoring.
• Lead ambiguous cross-functional initiatives, set technical direction, define roadmaps, mentor engineers, and conduct design reviews.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), significant production data-systems experience at scale, Python and SQL expertise, and AWS or similar cloud experience.
• Remote anywhere in the country, with in-office collaboration 1–2 times per month; full-time; US-based applicants only; base salary $177,185–$364,795 USD plus equity.
