Job Description
• Staff-level Site Reliability Engineering role at Google focused on the reliability, accuracy, and timeliness of Google Cloud Platform billing systems, Google Cloud Billing and Payment services, and mission-critical APIs in New York, NY.
• Improve the full service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement while engineering availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency into software and systems.
• Respond to emergent service problems, develop software and automation to prevent recurrence, and conduct capacity planning, demand forecasting, performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience; 8 years of software development experience, 3 years leading projects, and experience troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
