Job Description

• Staff Software Engineer leading analytics engineering and data foundations for Pinterest’s Core Data Science organization.
• Mentor analytics engineers; establish instrumentation, experimentation, data quality, documentation, and data democratization practices.
• Build AI tools, analysis pipelines, self-service dataset tooling, and workflow processes for scalable insights and metric investigations.
• Requires 6+ years working with data, advanced SQL plus Python or R, workflow orchestration, ETL/ELT, DAG dependencies, and large complex datasets.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience; remote anywhere in the country with in-office collaboration 1–2 times per month.
