Job Description

• Support research and development, new product and technology development, and technical and commercial operations for Covestro materials and applications.
• Perform formulation, processing, design, testing, lab evaluation, lab analysis, process optimization, raw material evaluation, plant troubleshooting, and lab bench work.
• Work with chemists and engineers on part design, reaction or formulation chemistry, molding, and finished-part testing in a fast-paced environment.
• Enroll in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer/Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering; completion of Freshman year and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above are required.
• Complete an approximately 12-week internship beginning in mid-May 2027; demonstrated PC/Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, analytical problem-solving, project coordination, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
