Supply Chain Intern

Job Description

• Supply materials sourcing, procurement, supplier coordination, and purchasing support for Mortenson operating groups, business service groups, Energy & Infrastructure businesses, and project teams.
• Create and maintain operating-group catalogs; standardize material descriptions and categories; and implement related changes.
• Enter purchase orders, assist with purchase transactions, track orders through delivery, and communicate status to project teams and suppliers.
• Visit job sites or equipment facilities and collaborate with buyers and Supply Chain Analysts to understand materials and organizational structures.
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; visa sponsorship is unavailable and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required.
• Summer internship runs May–August 2027; starting compensation is $18/hr, with potentially higher wages based on year in school.
