Support Helper I

Job Description

• Support patient care services at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI, assisting hospital staff, patients, and families in a clean, safe, and efficient healthcare environment.
• Transport, transfer, and move patients safely; deliver equipment, specimens, patients, and records throughout the hospital.
• Maintain inventory in stock rooms, carts, and assigned areas, and perform housekeeping, general maintenance, and clerical tasks.
• Must be able to lift, move, and assist patients or objects weighing up to 60 pounds and perform bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to follow oral and written instructions, and ability to work independently; full-time position.
