Job Description

• Provide childcare and support teaching staff at UPMC Mercy's Child Development Center for children from infants through pre-kindergarten.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development through play and learning activities.
• Maintain child safety, hygiene, confidentiality, and a clean, orderly, attractive center environment.
• Complete assigned-shift duties, work across centers, rooms, or shifts as needed, and comply with Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare licensing regulations.
• Preferred: prior childcare experience with infants through pre-kindergarten; complete ongoing training hours required by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
