Telecom Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Job Description

• John Staurulakis (JSI) is hiring a full-time, remote Telecom Regulatory Compliance Specialist for its Consulting - Regulatory department.
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory compliance reports and filings to the FCC, PUCs, and other federal and state regulatory agencies on behalf of telecommunications providers.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned telecommunications clients, gather reporting information, analyze financial and operational data, and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Requires a combination of education and at least 1 year of office experience in accounting, telecom regulatory compliance, taxes, telecommunications, or utility regulation; a Finance, Accounting, or Business degree is preferred.
• Requires Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Word and Excel, strong math, logic, problem-solving, time-management, and deadline-management skills, plus the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience filing telecom regulatory reports and 2+ years of professional Excel experience are preferred or advantageous.
