Threat Hunting Researcher (Unit 42)

Job Description

• Conduct threat hunting and investigate leads using IOCs, threat intelligence, internal detections, reports, workflows, and log-based investigations.
• Respond to urgent customer hunting requests and suspected security incidents, provide investigation summaries and recommendations, and escalate high-impact events.
• Monitor emerging campaigns and threat-landscape developments; provide context for deeper investigations and support timely customer reporting.
• Requires 3+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience in threat hunting, incident investigation, SOC analysis, detection engineering, DFIR, or MDR.
• Remote, full-time role with Palo Alto Networks Unit 42; salary of $117,000.00–$189,200.00/yr and no immigration sponsorship.
