UI Engineer - CES Client Platforms

Job Description

• Full-time UI Engineer role with Citadel Securities' CES Client Platforms team in New York, NY; work mode is not explicitly specified.
• Design and build workflow-driven, high-performance user interfaces using TypeScript and React for institutional electronic trading and execution platforms.
• Integrate UI components with distributed backend systems, real-time data services, C++ and Python backend services, and data pipelines.
• Translate complex trading, market data, and client workflows into intuitive applications while driving front-end architecture, performance, maintainability, reusable frameworks, component libraries, and developer tooling.
• Requires front-end application development experience, strong UI architecture/state-management/rendering-performance knowledge, exceptional analytical ability, UX instincts, and strong communication and collaboration skills; financial services or electronic trading experience is a plus but not required.
