Job Description
• Horizontal Talent is hiring a UI/UX Designer for a 12-month remote contractor assignment supporting a technology and operations modernization initiative across web platforms for learners and healthcare users.
• Create wireframes, responsive mockups, UI documentation, user-centered interfaces, page layouts, navigation patterns, and digital workflows while supporting developer handoff and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, content specialists, front-end developers, and other cross-functional partners; conduct iterative testing and refinement throughout the product lifecycle.
• Requires 5+ years of UI/UX design experience, a Bachelor’s degree, knowledge of accessibility and interaction design, and strong communication, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and team-oriented skills.
• Compensation is $33–$67/hr based on qualifications and experience; applications will be accepted for 4 weeks.
