UI/UX Researcher/Designer

Job Description

• Onsite UX/UI Designer role in Ridgecrest, CA, supporting the WSSIS V Contract at AWL within a defense, aerospace, or military software environment.
• Design intuitive, user-centered, and accessible enterprise web application interfaces, including personas, journey maps, information architectures, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, design systems, and component libraries.
• Conduct user research, interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, and feedback sessions; translate findings into actionable interface improvements.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or a related field, plus 1–2 years of professional UX/UI web application experience; equivalent education and direct practical experience may apply.
• Requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. DoD Security Clearance; salary is $70,310–$76,000 and employment is full-time.
