Job Description
• Full-time, 9-month academic-year, on-site tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, MA.
• Develop an externally funded research program focused on molecular and cellular mechanisms of brain development, aging, or neurological disorders, using molecular, biochemical, genetic, and cellular approaches.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students and contribute service to the department and College of Natural Sciences.
• Collaborate across the CNS community, campus, and Institute for Applied Life Sciences while promoting teamwork, equality, and inclusiveness.
• Requires a Ph.D. or equivalent in Life Sciences or a related field plus relevant post-doctoral experience; salary range is $79,350–$125,349.
