Job Description
• Utility Manager leading utility work for major DOT Design and Build highway infrastructure projects valued from $250 million to multi-billion dollars.
• Coordinates design consultants, utility owners, construction teams, discipline leads, and the Georgia Department of Transportation across utility investigation, conflict resolution, design, relocation, construction, and closeout.
• Manages utility budgets, cost estimates, schedules, agreements, permits, invoices, accruals, subcontracts, Utility Management Plans, and Project Management Plans.
• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree or Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience coordinating complex utility adjustments on highway Design and Build projects.
• Requires budget management, management of multiple team members, multidisciplinary collaboration, problem-solving ability, and experience with DOT Design-Build utility management; must ensure compliance with Design, Build, and Finance Agreement requirements and Federal, State, and local standards.
