Vulnerability Management Analyst

Job Description

• Manage and scale Verizon’s Exposure and Vulnerability Management program, including vulnerability assessment platforms, scanners, and supporting cloud infrastructure.
• Automate triage, ingestion, exposure, and remediation workflows using Python, Bash, scripting, integrations, and RESTful APIs.
• Analyze zero-days, CVEs, security bugs, vulnerability findings, exploit mechanics, and CVSS-based risk to prioritize remediation.
• Partner with global engineering, cloud, security operations, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to resolve scanning and integration issues.
• Drive enterprise asset and vulnerability visibility, reporting, executive dashboards, SLA compliance, and escalations for critical unpatched assets.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience, plus one or more years of relevant cybersecurity experience; hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office in Temple Terrace, FL.
