Job Description
• Full-time, on-site Sanitary Welder/Fabricator role in Northvale, NJ, supporting Engineering and Maintenance in a food manufacturing environment.
• Independently complete stainless-steel fabrication projects from layout and fabrication through TIG/MIG welding, finishing, installation, and turnover.
• Fabricate, install, repair, and modify sanitary equipment, piping, tanks, conveyors, platforms, guarding, hoppers, and replacement parts using 304/316L stainless and food-grade materials.
• Requires 7+ years of welding/fabrication experience, including 3+ years in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or other sanitary manufacturing; advanced TIG/MIG skills and sanitary tubing/Tri-Clamp experience.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, weld symbols, and engineering drawings; support capital projects, utility tie-ins, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and mentoring.
• Compensation is $35–$45/hour; Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional weekend or shutdown work possible.
