Job Description
• Perform production MIG welding, manual welding, fixture welding, fitting, and assembly of metal components in a clean, modern manufacturing facility.
• Read blueprints, work orders, drawings, weld symbols, and technical documentation; use measurements and basic math to complete accurate welds and fits.
• Set up and safely operate MIG welding equipment; use fixtures, clamps, grinders, drills, saws, and other shop machinery for fabrication and finishing.
• Inspect welds and finished parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, manufacturing standards, and common weld defects; perform grinding, cleanup, and touch-up welding.
• Contract-to-hire, fully onsite role in Morton, IL, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available; entry-level through advanced candidates considered; $24.00–$34.00/hr.
