Wind Field Blade Repair Tech II- Wold Ridge- Muenster, TX

Job Description

• Perform field-based maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and structural repairs on wind turbine generators and blades, including Category 4 and 5 repairs.
• Set up, rig, maintain, and operate blade repair platforms and boom truck systems; travel extensively with little or no notice across the company fleet and work 80% travel from Wolf Ridge near Muenster, TX.
• Lead crew activities, daily meetings, pre- and post-job meetings, parts ordering, personnel oversight, and Safety Mentor responsibilities.
• Comply with OSHA requirements and company safety policies; support safety, environmental, financial, and turbine-availability reporting, Lean Six Sigma, and Quality Improvement processes.
• Requires a High School diploma/GED, 1+ years of experience or completion of a technical certificate/degree program, valid non-CDL driver's license, and post-offer Functional Capacity Evaluation; preferred qualifications include 2+ years, an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, trade school, CDL, and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager certification.
