Wind Hub Technician- $7500 Sign-on Bonus - ND2 (Pollock, SD)

Job Description

• Maintain, repair, replace, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and turbine-generator equipment at wind sites within Hub ND2.
• Perform daily turbine operations, safety, quality-control, warranty-repair, diagnostic, and service-reporting activities, including climbing towers up to 300 feet.
• Travel locally among hub sites, work rotating shifts and on-call schedules, and occasionally stay overnight; this is an on-site role despite a contradictory remote designation in the posting.
• Requires a High School Diploma/GED plus 1+ year of wind technician/mechanic experience, a wind certificate or Energy associate degree, or 2 years of electrical work experience; must pass a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, ability to handle repetitive 50-lb. weight and remain within a 300-lb. equipment-and-gear limit, and U.S. work authorization; base pay is $32.95–$43.88 plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus.
