Wind Ironworker - Wake Repower Wind Project

Job Description

• Full-time, on-site Wind Ironworker position for Mortenson’s Wake Repower Wind Project in Floydada, TX.
• Marks, positions, secures, cuts, bends, splices, and installs rebar, structural steel, wire mesh, ornamental ironwork, and wind-turbine components.
• Sets up and inspects cranes and rigging, directs forklift/crane unloading, handles deliveries, and participates in crane erection and teardown.
• Connects blades to hubs, sets base and tower sections, handles taglines, and climbs ladders averaging 80 meters.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of related experience preferred, equipment certifications as required, a current driver’s license, and current U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.
