Wind Site Deputy Manager (SPC Bethel Wind)

Job Description

• Assist with managing daily operations of the 276 MW Bethel Wind Facility in Castro County, Texas, equipped with 120 GE 2.3 MW wind turbines; on-site, facility-based role in Dimmitt, TX.
• Lead technicians and third-party wind contractors while managing balance-of-plant operations and maintenance, contracts, warranties, equipment performance, and repairs.
• Produce operational, safety, regulatory, and environmental reports and ensure compliance with ANSI Fall Protection Standards and environmental requirements covering hazardous waste, oil spills, avian studies, and wildlife conservation.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a related bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in wind energy.
• Requires Microsoft Office/database proficiency, turbine-tower climbing up to 110 meters approximately 5–10 times weekly, adverse-weather and off-road driving capability, travel as needed, and a body weight at or below 270 pounds.
