Wind Technician Any Level - Little Cotton Cluster: Hastings, NE

Job Description

• Full-time, non-exempt Wind Technician role with NextEra Energy supporting Cottonwood/Little Cotton Wind operations near Blue Hill, approximately 20 miles south of Hastings, at the Campbell, NE location; field-based/on-site work.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, electrical/electronic/mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and component replacement on wind turbines and associated power-generation equipment.
• Interpret schematics and fault reports; use diagnostic tools; maintain power-generation reports and service logs; monitor turbine performance and SCADA systems.
• Support OSHA-compliant safety practices, environmental and financial reporting, turbine availability, Lean Six Sigma projects, and planned/unplanned maintenance solutions.
• Requires a High School diploma/GED, 0+ years of experience, valid non-CDL driver's license, ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet, and a post-offer Functional Capacity Evaluation; Associate’s Degree preferred.
