Job Description

• Full-time, non-exempt Wind Technician III (Entry Level) position with NextEra Energy Resources in Cisco, TX; stationary/on-site wind-farm work performed outdoors and at heights.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, electrical/electronic/mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics, component replacement, and reliability work on wind turbines and associated power-generation equipment.
• Use schematics, diagnostic tools, fault reports, computer service logs, power-generation reports, and SCADA systems; operate the company-provided tablet.
• Follow Safety Management System procedures and applicable OSHA regulations; maintain safety, environmental, maintenance, financial-reporting, and turbine-availability requirements.
• Requires a High School diploma/GED, 0+ years of experience, a valid non-CDL driver’s license, ability to climb up to 300 feet, and a post-offer Functional Capacity Evaluation; Associate’s Degree preferred.
