Wind Technician Leader (Advanced) at Hart Wind in Hart, TX

Job Description

• Leads operations and maintenance support for wind farm equipment at the Hart, TX site, working outdoors and at heights up to 300 feet.
• Troubleshoots and maintains electrical components, mechanical systems, and wind turbine components; performs annual preventive maintenance and diagnoses equipment problems.
• Schedules routine maintenance, maintains parts inventory, monitors turbine performance, and recommends efficiency improvements.
• Provides working-leader guidance, recruits and develops technicians, assists with team selection and training, and supports the Site Manager with safety, environmental, operational, maintenance, financial, and budgeting reports.
• Requires a high school diploma/GED or completion of a technical certificate/degree program, 5+ years in a technical field unless completing such a program, a valid non-CDL driver’s license, ability to climb a 300-foot turbine, and a post-offer functional capacity evaluation; work is full-time and on-site.
