Wind Technician- Maintenance Repair Operation (Maine)

Job Description

• Perform maintenance, repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and diagnostic analysis on GE wind turbine electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Execute customer and contractual site obligations, document completed work through computer-based service reporting, and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center.
• Requires a high school diploma/GED, technical knowledge assessment, and either 1+ year of wind technician/mechanic experience, a Wind Certificate Program/Associate’s Degree in Energy, or 2+ years of electrical experience.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, work rotating shifts and on-call schedules, travel or assist at other sites, lift approximately 50 lbs, and climb towers up to 300 feet daily.
• Remote U.S. position in the wind energy industry; base pay is $32.95–$43.88, with possible geographic differentials of 110%, 120%, or 130%.
