Job Description

• Manage gate planning, daily schedule integrity, and flight process oversight for a pod of approximately 10–20 gates at United Airlines’ San Francisco airport operations station.
• Preplan shifts and operational banks; monitor pre-arrival, arrival, ground-servicing, and departure activities for exceptions and process failures.
• Create and adapt hub gating plans, maintain situational awareness of operational disruptions, and make tactical decisions while escalating significant issues to the SOC shift manager.
• Coordinate real-time schedule and flight-level updates with NOC Dispatch, Operations Managers, departments, service partners, external agencies, and stakeholders maintaining FLIFO information.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience, 2+ years of airline management experience, U.S. work authorization without sponsorship, and reliable attendance; preferred qualifications include schedule planning, project leadership, and experience with Inform Real Time Stands, Unimatic, or IOM.
